A Primal Constellation experience takes place in a group setting (a workshop) and is inspired by Bert Hellinger’s Trans-Generational Systemic Constellation work in Germany. All of his observations about the “Order of Love” remain in tact. At times, the “knowing field” may take us in a different direction than even “we” as facilitators are able to predict. My intention is to hold the space open to those unknown yet perceptible forces at work during the process, while leaving ample room for the expression of primal emotions. This construct is, in no way, meant to “water down” the healing effect or the systemic resolution of Hellinger's original Constellation process.
Having worked in the field of Primal Therapy prior to my becoming a Certified Facilitator of Bert Hellinger's work three years ago, I sometimes notice that the “knowing” or “morphogenic” field, once awakened, may have a different plan than the original program which I had learned. When this grand, universal, energetic field of creation (the "CHI") is allowed to unfold unencumbered by prior beliefs or pre-programmed expectations, the results will inherently lead to a positive resolution. Humbly following the inner harmony contained within the “Order of Love” gives this profound process the time and space to fill in the systemic blanks.
Everything, even the unknown, is included. As a group, we are just privileged to witness the tip of the iceberg, even without fully comprehending all that may lie below. All we have to do is trust the Field itself, and it will move into that space of deep healing and resolution on its own. We merely give it the chance to breathe out some of its putrid, carbon buildup of unexpressed truths and emotions trapped in a time and place where such expression was not allowed.
My role is to facilitate, hold the space open and occasionally prompt the energy along as needed. The innate intelligence witnessed within this profound process allows us to guide it or have it face or speak its secret truth. We, in this Primal Constellation experience, are merely opening Pandora's Box to let the negative energies release and reorganize into harmonious feelings of love, healing and inclusion.
A greater force within the Soul truly does the work. I am simply a “helper candle” to illuminate what was once, not “darkness,” but merely an absence of light. In the teachings of the Kabbalah, the Kav comes to complete and illuminate the void, birthing “consciousness” into its new, integrated state of being called ONENESS -- and what could be more “primal” than that?
